The Result of Sacrifice
Some people have the illusion that you need to have sufficient faith for all of your dreams to become reality. However, to become very successful, in whatever area, depends on the disposition and dedication of the individual to reach their goal.
After all, success is nothing more than the result of good decisions and the correct attitudes taken throughout life. The Lord Jesus is the best and greatest example of this. For this reason, today, you and I are able to have access not just for an abundant life, but also mainly for eternal salvation. The Lord Jesus had to sacrifice His own life on the cross in Calvary – Our God determined this Sacrifice.
The word of God records that “the disciples were exceedingly sorrowful,” (Matthew 17:23) when the Lord Jesus said that He must be crucified – because their eyes were only on the sacrifice. In that moment, they could not see the result of this sacrifice would be victory over all the evil and salvation of all mankind.
Just like the disciples, many that say that they have faith, continue to be sad and fail, because they are not ready to sacrifice their own will, to obey what is determined in the word of God. They still do not understand that the result of such obedience would be materialised in the promises of God in their lives.
The Lord Jesus was not grieved, because He had the certainty of victory, which would come afterwards, His resurrection. Because of His sacrifice, God is highly exalted. Today, the Father directs Him and His name is above all other names.
Dear reader, sacrifice is the most purest expression of faith of a human being. It is faith that brings happiness, certainty of victory. Where there is faith, there is sacrifice, and the supernatural manifestation of God. This is the vision that you must have!
