Regardless of colour, culture, nationality or religion, what we all want is to be happy. We have seen many people living without direction and any goals for their lives.

Many people are single and wants to get married; then once they are married, they want to be single again. Why are there so many difficulties and emptiness in people's heart? Why are there so many people that keep looking for an inner satisfaction? Why so many people take refuge in drugs, friendship, lust, games, gambling, alcohol, or even in someone? Why is the gap remaining and often brings deep depression that makes them feel completely lost, disappointed and even think about dying?

The answer is simple: The emptiness of the soul.

There is a hole inside us. An empty hole, and nothing can ever fill this hole. You may cry, as I've said; Many people seek happiness and peace in places that bring more emptiness and depression for the soul and later on they will feel even worse than before.


This 'empty hole' that you have is something that is missing in your life, it is a place where only God can fill. When the pain is in the body, sometimes the medications can help. But when the pain comes from the SOUL, many are those who don't know what to do and they feel incomplete.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you..."  Acts 1:8

The Holy Spirit comes not only for us to speak in tongues, but above all to give us strength and power in order for us to overcome in this world, to be filled with His presence and to keep our salvation up to date every day. There is a river that flows from God, a river of living waters that purifies and quenches the thirst of the soul.

Even if you are facing so many problems and you are too busy concentrated in your problems, start focusing in seeking more from the Holy Spirit. Get thirsty for the Holy Spirit, like someone lost in the desert, desperate for water. Then He will come to you and you will receive the Power of God, the Spirit of God and you will be able to overcome these problems, the emptiness of your heart will be gone and you will no longer be the same.

One day Jesus said to His disciples, "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift My Father promised, which you have heard Me speak about. For John baptised you with water, but in a few days you will be baptised with the Holy Spirit."  Acts 1:4-5

What you need is the Holy Spirit of God.

Philosophies, religion and doctrines can't bring peace not a new life to you. But the Holy Spirit can bring the true happiness that will remain in you forever. "I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts."  Revelation 21:6
